About Joseph W. Ferrigno III
Joseph Ferrigno is the father of six children (the 6th arrived on November 19, 2012) and four grandchildren. He exercises intensely most days including when he travels. Joseph has lived and worked in Hong Kong since the mid-1980s where he is a pioneer and leader in the direct investment management and banking businesses in the Asia region. He currently manages a mezzanine capital direct investment fund, the Asia Strategic Capital Fund, for major international institutional investors and invests in medium-sized businesses in China, India and SE Asia to help fund their strategic development. Joseph has been principally involved with private equity/mezzanine fund management and with the development and financing of infrastructure, energy, telecom and Internet businesses while at Lehman Brothers, the Bechtel Group and Prudential Financial of the United States. Earlier, he was with the Chase Manhattan Bank and Bankers Trust Company in New York and London. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Visiting Professor at Ritsumeikan University in Japan.
